You have experience in the real estate industry, specifically with lease accounting.

Highly analytical and strong in process optimization, you deal well with details and fine-tuning metrics.

You should be comfortable with the supervision of a team and being a key person for the finances within a large team.
The Role
-
This position is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires a strong accounting and analytical background.

You will be working with the finance team, as well as executive-level management to ensure that financial budgets, forecasting, and reporting is communicated effectively.

This position will be involved in strategy meetings and integral in creating company projections.

The Finance Supervisor will be reviewing and analyzing all financial reports and metrics to aid in the success and growth of the organization.
Responsibilities

Supervision of the finance team and financial analysts

Oversee earnings projections and supervise strategy calls
-
Assist financial analysts in reviewing leases to ensure leasing terms are being outlined clearly

Ensure projection data is correctly portrayed in the company projection model

Review high-level model projections for errors in data
-
Analyzing financial metrics and creating forecasts

Assist with operating metrics analysis
-
Involvement in making technology changes to optimize processes

Reviewing monthly fluctuation analyses completed by financial analysts to ensure accuracy
-
Coordinate with the Financial Reporting team to prepare financial reporting schedules

Act as the point-person for lease negotiation and serve as the regional manager for the finance team
Required Experience
-
Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in the area of Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

CPA, CFA or MBA
-
Big 4 experience preferred, but not necessary
-
Experience in public accounting, particularly the real estate industry
-
Understanding of lease accounting and analysis
-
Advanced Excel skills desired
-
GAAP knowledge
-
Experience with Argus and JD Edwards is highly preferred
